John Gelderman

John Gelderman is a retail development expert with 20 years of experience.  He is an accomplished professional providing commercial retail development services to clients throughout the Midwest.  He has developed and consulted on a wide variety of projects ranging in size from 50 acre Target anchored centers to one acre urban redevelopment projects. 

John offers a remarkable skill set that combines his financial, architectural and development background.  His unique insight into leasing comes from working directly for a number of retailers, while his creative approach to problem solving ensures smooth execution, regardless of project size. 

Employment experiences includes Senior development positions at both Opus Corporation and CSM Corporation.  Past experience also includes overseeing the national expansion of Caribou Coffee and construction management at Pepisco/Taco Bell.

John holds a BA in Architecture from the University of Minnesota and an MBA in Real Estate Brokers License and is a member of ICSC and the Minnesota Shopping Center Association, where he serves on the board of directors.
