Whitaker Leonhardt is an Associate Director in the Orlando office of HFF with more than
six years of experience in commercial real estate. He is primarily responsible for originating
and executing retail investment sales throughout the southeastern United States. Mr. Leonhardt has been involved in more than
$500 million in sales and financing transactions.
Mr.
Leonhardt joined the firm in October 2012.
Prior to joining HFF, he was the Director of Investment Sales and
Leasing at Crossman & Company where he focused on property dispositions and
project leasing. Mr. Leonhardt completed
75 lease and sale transactions totaling more than $30 million in value.
Mr. Leonhardt was
selected by the ICSC Foundation as the 2013 Fiala Fellow, a year-long
fellowship, which recognizes an outstanding professional under the age of 35
who demonstrates a commitment to retail real estate and has the potential to
make a lasting contribution to the industry.
Mr. Leonhardt is currently a member of both the ICSC West Florida Idea
Exchange Committee and the Next Generation National Conference Committee, has an
MSRE from University of Florida and is a member of the Bergstrom Council
supporting the University of Florida; he earned his undergraduate degree at
Georgetown University.
